Review of A Clockwork Orange (1971) by Austin P — 06 Feb 2013
Truly one of the greatest pieces of cinema I have EVER seen. The plot ties together so many dark things about society just perfectly. Stanley Kubrick's direction is flawless. Malcolm McDowell gives one of the best (if not the best) performances of his career.
The themes involving free will and the goverment wanting to control society is truly haunting. This movie was one of the pivotal movies that shaped me into the film buff/reviewer I am today. One of my favorites of all time.
A masterpiece.
