McDowell provides an arousing performance, acting as a youth in his most primal form; wanting to be sexually and non-judgmentally fulfilled. Hoodlums to most, his small group of thugs' nightly patrols are violent, unforgiving, and under the radar.

Until they are swallowed into the larger legal corroboration of peace-wanting pedestrians, the night is theirs. Upon his return from being cured of violent actions, Alex DeLarge becomes the victim of the "peaceful" people whom he had perpetrated in the past.
