Stanley Kubrick delivers another perfect film, which is also very disturbing in certain spots. Set in futuristic London, the film follows Alex and his gang who do violent acts. After getting arrested, Alex is apparently cured of his violent beliefs and released from prison.
The film is expertly made, with a terrific performance from Malcolm McDowell. Kubrick's choice in music is perfect, as is the bleak cinematography. The most disturbing scene in the film is the Singing in the Rain sequence, when Alex and his gang enter into a home and rape the wife of the home owner.
The scene is highly disturbing, partly due to the choice in music that is used in the scene. The film is well put together and proves once again why Kubrick is such a genius filmmaker.
