Review of A Christmas Story (1983) by Richard G — 22 Dec 2010
Made in 1983,Set in the 1940s a Boy called Ralphie wants the mother of all preseints for Christmas- A Red Ryder BB Gun,despite everyone's warnings of Shooting his eye out,A Charming Comedy Drama which I have to admit is a contender for Best Christmas film ever made, its both funny and quirky and the characters in it are all likeable, for Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin as Ralphie's parents steal the movie, this is deffinetly a Classic to watch at Christmas time,i think we can all relate to this movie as I think we've all had that one gift we always wanted, and hoped like Hell we'd get it.
This film also has some good lessons about life, childhood and growing up and I dont think I could get bored from watching it over and over,a Brilliant film.
