Review of A Christmas Carol (1984) by Barry N — 21 Dec 2010
Familiar and sometimes slow, but I enjoyed this adaption. You would have to go out of your way to make this story bad, so I knew I was going to enjoy this film. A strong performance by George C. Scott made Scrooge come alive.
My main complaint was the annoying differences from the story that bothered me a lot. You've seen this story before, but it's done pretty good here.
