As a fan of the show, I must say that I was disappointed in this film version. The intimacy of the live stage was lost here and the cast - while impressive - just doesn't make the connection with you.
It's not fomatted well enough for the screen, and some key songs were either cut or rearranged ... one you should see live to fully enjoy.
