Review of A Chorus Line (1985) by Caroline A — 22 Feb 2008
It's not bad, but not fantastic. The dancing was pretty good for the most part, some of the characters were just average. Audrey Landers doesn't belong on the dance floor, but her singing was fairly good.
I enjoyed the closing song a lot, the beginning sequence, and "At the Ballet". The movie had such potential, but it just didn't go far enough. I'd always wanted to see the whole show all the way through, and as far as I know it includes most of the music.
I liked it.
