Review of A Chorus Line (1985) by Timothy M — 18 Sep 2010
Well... it is what it is. It would have been very difficult to make this work adequately as a film, and it most certainly doesn't, although Attenborough has a few tricks up his sleeve that he deploys to varied levels of success.
Thankfully, Michael Douglas never sings. I was afraid that was going to happen. So much of it is incredibly lame, and not all that funny, but... it's not a complete turd. Just a misguided project.
