Review of A Child's Christmas in Wales (1987) by Private U — 06 Feb 2009
This is probably my favourite Christmas movie.
It's an enacted version of the well-known Dylan Thomas poem. The scenes shown are virtually perfect Christmas memories, or how I always imagined Christmas would have been like in early 20th century England (ahem, Wales).
It's very warming, and the narration by Denholm Elliott is perfect.
