Review of A Child Is Waiting (1963) by Jay N — 22 Feb 2007
Overly sentimental but also very simplistic, in a good way. Judy garland gives a sincere and subdued performance, very believable and real. Burt Lancaster is a little too intense and severe. Good acting by the whole cast. Sweet and well meaning.
