Review of A Cat in Paris (2010) by Jhuan D — 30 Jan 2012
I only watched this because I realized it's nominated for an Oscar, and I always try watch as many movies as possible from the Oscars so I'll have an "opinion.".
In any case, since TinTin is out of the race, I think this probably is the best in its category. I feel so nostalgic when watching films that feature the kind of animation this movie does. I also loved the old time mystery feel it had, and the story was rather interesting to follow. I think that, unlike most characters of this film (if not all), the cat really was the focus - and you could see that through the detail in animation and motion the cat had vs. the human characters.
Overall, it was funny, eye-catching, engaging and excellently-made. Sorta loved it.
