Some good elements in this movie. Soundtrack is good. However, the character design for many of the adult characters is creepy and ugly. Also, while a lack of perspective is used at times for good artistic reasons, at other times it makes the film look flat and amateurish.
The gangster characters are cartoonish in a bad way, and a lot of the dialog in the English version seems awkward and blocky. That being it is still worth seeing. Good story with a cat as a hero!
