A bugs life has never been considered one of Pixar's best films, but has also never been considered one of the worst. To begin, a bugs life Is a fun movie and the animation quality gets doubles the quality of toy story.

However despite this, a bugs life is not one of Pixar's original ideas. It is also considered a copy of the DreamWorks film: Antz. To add to the problems, the characters in a bugs life sometimes come across annoying and predictable, like the circus bugs.

Altogether, a bugs life is not an original Pixar idea and it may be a enjoyable movie but its problems and unlikableness bring it down to a mixed rating.
