Review of A Bug's Life (1998) by Trevor R — 13 Jun 2011
While not a bad film by any means, A Bug's Life is near the bottom of Pixar for me. The story is a tad predictable but still great and has some of Pixar's usual quirks. The voice cast is also amazing as with every other Pixar film.
The visuals are also pretty cool considering it's been more than 10 years since it came out. Pixar has really come a long way from these visuals, but they were the starting point for other nature-related films like Finding Nemo and Up.
It's a cute, charming flick.
