Another pixar movie which has a lot of heart and alot of storyline and even more characters. a bugs life succeeds where Antz and the Ant Bully fail -- it doesn't give kiddie gore views of headless or bodiless insects or give the impression that an animal has been squashed.

it treads lightfootedly around the fact that these characters could easily die, and cannot defend themselves very weel, which is where pixar triumph over other animation companies, because they make their movies much more child-friendly, and their animation is years better than any other company, and both of those examples are the reason why I enjoy them the most.
