Review of A Bug's Life (1998) by Phillipe H — 18 Jun 2012
A Bug's Life is like the flip side of Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai". Definitely not to consider them the same, but the elements of a samurai or western film are there, but turned upside down.
What we get is a comedic turn on the genre. Sadly, this seems like an incredibly overlooked Pixar film when it is far better than many of their other ventures such as "Cars" and "Up".
