Review of A Brony Tale (2014) by Nathan M — 28 Oct 2014
A fun and entertaining film that shows great respect for a group of people that are mainly mocked in society. Fitting the feel good tone of its subject material, director Brent Hodge allows A Brony Tale to investigate the phenomenon of Bronies in a way that pays homage to them, rather than poking fun.
You really see why these people care so much about My Little Pony, even if you don't totally understand. You still appreciate and care about why they care. It matters to them, and so for about 90 minutes it matters to you.
The film, just like its subjects, has a good heart, and it makes you feel good to watch it.
