Review of A Bronx Tale (1993) by Vito D — 19 May 2008
A pretty good directing debut from De Niro. Even though De Niro is the big name in the whole production, this film is about the bond between Calogero (Brancato) and Sonny (Palminteri). Not the greatest mob film ever yet it is somehow more Italo-American than most thanks to the sounds and fashion of the 60s.
