Review of A Bronx Tale (1993) by Timothy M — 28 Dec 2012
De Niro's directorial debut was not received well by critics, but I enjoyed this movie about a duel for acceptance by a man and his son's role model. After scraping the cheese off of the performance of Lillo Brancato as Calogero Anello, the role of De Niro's son, I found watching his parts stand able.
Chazz Palminteri did a fine job with both script-writing and acting, and in my eyes, stole the show although De Niro as always, should be commended.
