Review of A Bronx Tale (1993) by Victor M — 22 Oct 2013
Although DeNiro's directing eye is strikingly similar to Scorsese's (hm how did that happen) this coming of age tale of a boy torn between to father figures, his bus driving father and the neighborhood wise guy that takes him under his wing, delivers on most cues that make these types of movies some of the best of all time.
Not to mention its a time when italians weren't defined by their fist pumping and drunkenness.
