Review of A Bridge Too Far (1977) by Darin C — 10 Dec 2007
What a monster of a movie. With all the newer movies filled with cgi, one is simply blown away by the massive effort it took to coordinate the air drop scenes. One scene has at least 20 planes in it. Real ones.
Someone needs to remaster the sound, the music is a victim of the era the film was made in. I wonder why I hadn't seen it sooner. Micheal Caines best film, Gene Hackman's worst, Anthony Hopkins at his most typical self, Redford has too minor of a role, but I'll stop there.
