(1977) A Bridge Too Far.
WAR.
Based on a single persons opinion about a particular war that should never have happend during WWII called "Operation Market Garden" written by a book written by Cornelius Ryan of the same name who also served as a consultant. Directed by Richard Attenborough, the full cast includes, Michael Caine, Dirk Bogarde, Sean Connery, Gene Hackman, Ryan O' Neal, Anthony Hopkins, James Caan and many many more.
Despite it's long running time with it's intentions to be another "The Longest Day" type of war film which states history instead of telling a story coming out a war book, that at the end thought the film was rather pointless and often confusing in specific parts! As forementioned above, one of it's problems is that it's based on one persons opinion when it's better read on historical war books, since theres no afformentioned about the soldiers who were captured or accountability making the overall experience rather emotionless!
2 out of 4.
