While I dig the post apocalyptic setting of the movie I thought the script was a little bare. It's a simple plot with so so acting.
The whole thing is pretty bleak with no happy ending in sight for anyone.
The ending was a bit of a surprise but all in all it fell a little short.
I can see why this is considered a cult film.
