Review of A Blood Pledge (2009) by Daniel H — 29 Oct 2010
For various reasons, four Korean high school students vow to fulfill a suicide pact, but only one of them goes through with it. The survivors deal with guilt, questions from their dead classmate's younger sister, also at the same school, the pressure of having good grades to get to a good college, and abuse from family members.
Slightly better than Moksori, the fourth in the Whispering Corridors series, this entry has some of the most vicious girls, yet has the tender emotional drama of the first three movies. There are some genuine scares amid the conflict. A worthy, above average entry in the series. Can't wait for the sixth one, if there is to be a sixth one.
