What a waste of talent. There are a few moments of brilliance but just when the story gets going it abruptly grinds to a halt. The relationship and interaction between Swinton, Fiennes, and Schoenaerts is both stilted and completely illogical.
Johnson does a good job when she's allowed to but like everything else in this disjointed affair just when you become interested in her she is cut off and were forced to watch some fat Italian woman make cheese or some other boring thing.
