This isn't a film I would normally be drawn to but I'm happy to have seen it. If you can survive Ralph Fiennes hyper, over active character then the story and character studies will draw you in and you won't be able to take your eyes off the screen.
It's filmed in a very interesting way and has the feel of a movie from the 60's with it's long sweeping landscape shots accompanied by a dramatic score. The relationships between the characters in the movie had me hooked and it had a very surprising ending that I did not see coming at all.
It won't be to everyone's tastes but I loved it.
