One of the most classic movies in Hong Kong film industry as well as John Woo's Best Collection.
It wasn't a surprise when I get to know that the total sale of DVDs in the US market are just one step behind The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Besides that, the original score and theme songs altogether are making people think of the unforgettable scenes from this film. Leslie Cheung can sing very well apart from his astonishing acting career.
Shooting with both hands, stylish coat and sunglasses and white colour birds are John Woo's icons.
Overall, I like the story because it portrays a very meaningful struggle between black and white, sibling and friendship.
I guess this film shows why Tom Cruise will trust John Woo's directing effort in Mission Impossible II. As at today Mission Impossible III is not doing better than Mission Impossible II in terms of box office performance and the latter was the best so far in the whole series.
