This movie ranks in my all time top 10 movies and that is saying a lot. This movie is cheesy in parts, especially with the late early 90s vibe and you can also say that some of the characters are sort of cliched.
What you can never complain about this movie is that it entertains. The characters are so well developed in the acting that you really get into their world. This is especially true for the breakout role of Mark by Chow Yun Fat.
A role so fun that you can tell CYF is having a ball playing him. This movie is not for chicks. Its about brotherhood, loyalty, and family all amplified by gangland violence. A must watch for anybody even remotely interested in Asian cinema.
