A touching, heartbreaking film that had me rooting for the main character and feeling devastated for him when things don't go his way. It avoided falling into cliched territory on a few occasions and left a more lasting impression as a result.
Great performances by Demian Bichir, who is up for Best Actor at the Academy Awards this year, and Jose Julian.
