Review of A Beautiful Mind (2001) by Patrick K — 20 Mar 2011
I have seen many films about people with schizophrenia but many of those had a lesser plot or performances compared to this. russell crowe is john nash who is gifted with being able to solve the toughest equasions but is bogged down with hallucinations that threatens to rip him apart.
crowe portrays nash absolutely brilliantly and is supported brilliantly by jennifer connelly who plays his wife alicia and ed harris and paul bettany are also very good as his hallucinations. big credit goes to ron howard who makes yet another engaging movie.
