Review of A Beautiful Mind (2001) by Niloo R — 03 Jan 2013

I really really love this film. I think it's really masterful. everything from the screenplay, to the direction to the fantastic performances was spot-on. often with biopics it's difficult to get into the heart of the stories, but I think this film does that wonderfully, because it focuses and highlights more than anything else, humanity and heart.

at the end of the day, this wasn't an epic about a historical figure, it was a heart-felt story about real human beings, and I think that's what connects with audiences and stirs emotion and catharsis.
