Subtle in a way that's hard for me to describe, while also being pretty blatant. ...I think. I don't know. This is one of those movies that makes me feel like I'm reading a well-written book that I just want to dissect and digest.
Fitting, since at least a few of the storylines here come from short stories and have been translated well into film. Also thought the music was pretty good.
