A riveting performance by Michael Shannon, with serviceable jobs done by the rest of the cast. A look at the mortgage crisis from a different perspective than that of Inside Job or Big Short, but just as important to understanding the whole situation.
Well paced and well written, this was a very underappreciated (by box office measures) film.
