The two leads are pretty good with Michael Shannon being very good to great as he is with everything he does. You come to understand both sides of the coin when it comes to the housing market situation and can empathize even with the "villain" in the movie.
The end is a bit of a push to bring a extra dramatic ending that seemed unneeded at least to that extreme.
