Bought the Blu-Ray and watched this at home with my family. I thought this movie was an absolutely wonderful audio-visual representation of the real-life story of young pastor Don Piper and his wife Eva and their family, giving a very accurate and realistic account of his death experience via auto/truck collision and the many months of physical and mental suffering that his family went through after he "came back" from Heaven to deal with a difficult present-Earth reality once again.

Highly inspirational... showing us a lot about how it is possible to get through terrible troubles/suffering if one has persistent determination and a great faith in Triune God Almighty and Jesus Christ.

.. giving us also some credible and inspiring reassurance of the actual existence of Heaven as an ultimate reward (and final destination) of a lifetime spent on this much-troubled planet. A very high-quality production by writer/director Michael Polish, a highly dramatic and fascinating docu-drama biograph with great verisimilitude and amazingly impressive acting by Hayden Christensen and Kate Bosworth and many others who played smaller roles.

I think this is one of the most realistically rendered "Christian films" I've ever seen, and the acting of the men who play the three or four different pastors that are portrayed in this film (including Hayden Christensen's Rev.

Don Piper and at least 3 other actors' work in portraying other pastors)... is probably the most realistic and faithful representation of modern-day pastors that I have ever seen. Excellent production values and great cinematography.

.. great and highly impressive performances by all who were involved in this movie. Congratulations to all concerned! This movie is a real blessing and a great inspiration to watch. Next I plan to get the Kindle ebooks of the parallel accounts of Don Piper and Eva Piper, so that I can join the more than 7 million readers who have already read Don Piper's 2004 book by the same title (which already has more than 46 foreign-language translations-- wow!).
