Review of 9 Songs (2004) by Vicki T — 26 Nov 2010
Borderline porn yet captures the relationship splendidly. The viewer need not care about the lovers as the viewer is simply the observer. Yet the candid moments are what define our real lives and they are captured here where others do not dare to go.
Nothing held in check. Not overly pornographic yet fully invested in the moments not normally captured. That's movie making on the edge. It's also honest real life.
