Review of 9 Songs (2004) by Matthew H — 26 Aug 2011
Being virtually plot-less and sexually explicit, I can only imagine that the makers of this were intending it to be an art film. If it were, it still didn't do that well. There wasn't much character development and what on earth does the antarctic have to do with all of this? Plus, if the film is about the main character (guy) reliving his memories why are they pretty much all about sex? Does he not have any other good memories with her?
I suppose the sex scenes were more realistic than that depicted in mainstream films. That was the only good thing about it.
