Review of 8MM (1999) by Max M — 13 Nov 2011
A good thriller with some great dusturbing moments but overall a pretty good movie about a little girl who gets murdered on film 8MM teaches the viewer about the true meaning of the undeground snuff film this is probably unfortunately one of the few last best of nicolas cage's good pereformances great thriller overall the plot of the film is about tom welles played by nicolas cage an older woman whose husband had died not too long too finds a film in the safe behind a painting the old lady doesn't know if the film is real or fake which her husband had purchased a snuff film which a snuff film is where someone makes a film where someone or a group of people die but the catch is the actors arent the killer the director is the killer of the film so after tom sees the snuf film of the little girl who has been missing for about 6 or 7 years he meets the little gir's mother who has been looking for her ever since she was missing a good thriller with some great gut wrenching suspense and some strange scenes to killing to scenes of pornography and snuff both combined highly recommended.
