I'm always a fan of dark, grimy thrillers that push the limits of what moviegoers can handle. I also have an always-forgiving love of Nicolas Cage movies. Hell, I even found something to like in Ghost Rider.
The problem with this one, a film about snuff movies (pretty edgy stuff, no?) starring one of my faves, is just that it turns out it's pretty boring.
