Review of 8MM (1999) by Nate G — 11 Apr 2012
A grim, violent odyssey into sexual perversion in America, Joel Schumacher's film has very little to recommend it, and even less to redeem it. All I really remember it for is seeing Jaoquin Phoeni on screen for the first time and thinking: here is somebody who's going to be very good.
Gladiator was his very next film. Let's remember that work and forget all about this one, yeah?
