I despise Nicolas Cage, and nothing about this movie sounded very interesting to me, so I put off seeing it for many years. I'm actually still not sure what possessed me to finally watch it, but I was actually kind of surprised.
It's certainly not the most exciting movie I've ever seen, and it's not the kind of thing that should be watched in mixed company. But it's much better than I expected, and at least I didn't feel like I had wasted my two hours.
This isn't terribly memorable, but it's much more watchable than I thought it would be.
