Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Brad S — 13 Nov 2011
This was a little better than I thought - but I stress a little. The story is interesting but largely unbelievable. Jack Gramm is a forensic pyshiatrist who testifies at murder trials. Somewhat predictably Gramm testifies at the trial of a serial murder who vows revenge.
The gimmic here is that the serial murderer is on death row and can't theoratically shouldn't be able to get revenge. However Gramm starts receiving phone calls saying that he will will die in 88 minutes.
The movie really isn't that good but keeps you watching because you want to see what happens. There are much, much better movies. There are also much worse. And it is entirely forgettable.
