"8 Femmes" or "8 Women"(English title) is a fantastic beautiful hilarious musical comedy by the French director Francois Ozon. The film stars some of the best French actresses including the legendary Catherine Deneuve, Isabelle Huppert, and Fanny Ardant. All 8 women make one of the most fabulous ensemble casts in a film that I have seen. The film is a musical, with each of the 8 women performing their own song, and it is also a murder mystery of sorts. The costumes and cinematography in the film are great, as are the performances. Even their singing performances are outstanding. The film was not nominated for any Oscars, but was nominated for many French Academy Awards, and won the Best Actress award at both the European Film Awards and the Berlin Film Festival for the ensemble cast of actresses..
