Review of 8 Women (2002) by Catherine T — 26 Mar 2008
A little Douglas Sirk-y with saturated colours and an appealing artificial stage-bound feel. Great musical numbers (many 60's pop songs), a Christie-style mystery, beautiful French accents, a plot with intriques, secrets and excellent all-female cast.
Oh, and about an 8 on the camp-o-meter.
