Jack O'Connell is strong in another overrated and flawed film about an indestructible soldier. As with "Unbroken" it's the director's fault this won't be an A-level blockbuster.
Too many traitors and double crosses weigh down the IRA-riot-themed bloodbath, while several odd choices unnecessarily confuse and slow. What starts as an action-packed thriller ends with a whimper.
