Review of 7 Women (1965) by Calvin C — 22 Apr 2013
John Ford's final film may not be his best or most memorable, but his way of telling stories about average people in extreme circumstances is still top notch. I was annoyed by some of the characters' delivery and some scenes were unintentionally funny because of it. However, once the third act kicks in, it is compelling drama until the bold final shot.
Grade: B.
