Berry Pepper and Thomas Jane were both good as Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle chasing Babe Ruth's record. I love baseball movies for the most part and this was no exception even though it was focused on the home-run race more than the team and individual games.
The frame with Mark McGuire was the weakest part of the movie, but provided a contemporary hook.
