In my opinion, this is one of the 3 best Romantic Comedies in film. Manhattan, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and 500 Days of Summer. Such a fresh look at the structure of a relationship. They are not very easily explained and much too complicated to attach labels.
Very well directed and shot and a fantastic soundtrack. I really appreciated all the Smiths/Pixies/Joy Division references throughout. A must see for film lovers.
