Review of (500) Days of Summer (2009) by Aaron J — 25 May 2013
This is a film that really tests the bounds of relationship problems, as seen through the eyes of one man. the film is very vibrant in color and in looks, the one thing that really stands out the most is the way it is wriiten by Scott Newstader, and Michael H.
Weber. Joseph Gordon-Levitt really show his full acting potential through his very heart-felt and charasmatic performance a Tom, a man who's in love with a girl named Summer( the marvelous Zooey Deschanel) and his longing to be with her and the 500 days of hell that he tried to be with her.
This movie has some very funny one-liners and some very crafty dialogue, I think that this film should have gotten an Academy Award Nomination for Best Orginal Screenplay. Marc Webb, a somewhat newcomer to the field of directing is really going to have a good career if he chooses to make his films with such grace and class as he did with this film.
I really can't stress how good joseph Gordon-Levitt was in this film and I really think that he should have gotten an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, I give the film 4 stars.
