Review of 50 First Dates (2004) by Garrison R — 16 Oct 2015
Adam Sandler is Henry Roth, who sleeps with women and has next to no interest in settling down. This changes when he meets Drew Barrymore (Lucy) and the two hit it off immediately. The catch is however that she has short term memory lose, and each date is a first date for her.
Despite this he does his best to continue winning her heart., 50 First Dates as an interesting premises, but fails to take off as really a comedy or a romantic movie. The film somewhat gets redundant and does not have enough going for it.
50 First Dates is not terrible, but will not likely be in anyone's short or long term memory.
